Double Cab Pick Up - Body off restoration !!

VW T2 double cab pick-up from 1984.

In November 1958, the Combi was extended with a new double-cab pick-up version, ideal for construction and public works companies. Its double cab allows a team of 6 people to be transported, while the pick-up, with or without a tarpaulin, offers an appreciable loading volume. Several bodies were used for the second generation of “Type 2”: the Type 21 Van, the Type 22 Microbus, the Type 23 Kombi, the Type 24 Microbus L (identical to the Type 22 but with some options) and the Type 26 Pick-up, available in single or double cab versions. It is precisely this last version that we have, which is the late model of the double cab with bay window. There is a single driver’s seat, a double passenger seat and a full width bench seat at the rear of the cab.

Finished in Blue with a leather and textile interior, our model has only 88.500kms!

Body off restoration ! Fully restored in 2021, we’ve imported it directly from Brazil.
Regarding any corrosion, it has no areas of concern.
All alignments are good and every door opens and closes without friction, as they should.
