A 1965 Morris Cooper S (KA2S4L) delivered new in Belgium.
Since 1987 in hands of the same family (2nd owner)
Finished in Tartan red with an English old white roof.
First owner used it as a road car and competed in local rallies during the weekends.
The second owner restored the car for the first time in 1990.
Besides road use it has been competing in Belgian historic rallies and historic hillclimb demo’s. .
The original and very rare ‘thin flench’ A-series 11 stud 1275 Cooper S engine has been rebuild by a specialist in 2023.
The bore has been increased .20 so it’s a 1293cc with a heavily modified Oselli head, forged Omega MED pistons, MED titanium valve caps, MED syncro set, KENT 274SP cam, polished followers, balanced and forged EN40B crankshaft, 123 ignition, etc
Has been tested for 150km and runs very well.
Powerband from 2000-6500rpm
Extra 1275 thin flench AEG312 engine block, remote 3-syncro gearbox and many other parts included.
