El GLS es el SUV de mayores dimensiones que tiene a la venta Mercedes-Benz en España, incluso por encima del GLE. Mide 5,21 metros de longitud, por lo que resulta 8 cm más largo que el modelo al que reemplaza, el GLS de 2016.
Todos los asientos son regulables eléctricamente. Para dejar espacio para acceder a la tercera fila, hay un sistema (también de serie) mediante el cual los asientos de la segunda se desplazan por un carril y los respaldos pivotan hacia delante.

The GLS is the largest SUV available from Mercedes-Benz in Spain, even larger than the GLE. It measures 5.21 metres in length, making it 8 cm longer than the model it replaces, the 2016 GLS.
All seats are electrically adjustable. To make room for access to the third row seating, there is a system (also standard) whereby the second row seats move along a track and the backrests pivot forward.
