Along the lines of the earlier Targa top, this open version of the F355 had a hard top that could be stowed away behind the seats. The F355 GTS featured a stress-bearing semi-monocoque steel chassis with variable-section, tubular front and rear sub-frames and electronically controlled suspension. The V8 engine produced a specific power of 109 bhp per litre and, mated to a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox, ensured performance.

In lijn met de eerdere Targa-top had deze open versie van de F355 een hardtop die achter de stoelen kon worden opgeborgen. De F355 GTS had een dragende semi-monocoque stalen chassis met variabele sectie, buisvormige voor- en achter subframes en elektronisch gestuurde ophanging. De V8-motor produceerde een specifiek vermogen van 109 pk per liter en, gekoppeld aan een zesversnellingsbak met korte overbrengingsverhoudingen, zorgde dit voor uitstekende prestaties.

Dans la lignée de la précédente Targa top, cette version ouverte de la F355 avait un toit rigide qui pouvait être rangé derrière les sièges. La F355 GTS était dotée d'un châssis semi-monocoque en acier porteur avec des sous-châssis tubulaires avant et arrière à section variable et une suspension contrôlée électroniquement. Le moteur V8 produisait une puissance spécifique de 109 ch par litre et, couplé à une boîte de vitesses à 6 rapports rapprochés, garantissait des performances de haut niveau.
